Santa's A Time Lord

So here's the evidence:
He's been around for years and he doesn't get much older, probably just regenerates
His sack is "Bigger on the Inside".
It's not a sleigh he's ridding, it's a TARDIS. That's why he can go to every house in one night.

So there you have it, PROOF Santa is a Time Lord.

...sigh...

I finished the Greatest series in the world! The fourth book of Twilight was excellent! With no help to my WINKING COUSINS!
Well here's one for you Hannah "Solient Green is PEOPLE!" **Wink**Wink** And Sarah if you didn't already know "The kids therapist is a GHOST!" **Wink**Wink**
Anywho, So I used my ultrasound picture as my book mark to remind me I'm not having a vampire half-breed. But the book was amazing and it ended right where I wanted it to, with a Happily Ever After.

We Passed!

We passed inspection on our car! Now we just need to update Greg's license and hopefully dodge a fine for the ticket we got for driving an uninspected vehicle.

A Strange Coincidence

On November 11, 2007 Greg and I embarked on a journey that changed our lives forever. Now exactly one year later on November 11, 2008 Greg and I find out news that will change our lives again.
That's right Ladies and Gentleman, Greg and I are starting a family together. Turns out that the PMS cramps I've been having for the past month wasn't Mother Nature's Monthly Gift. Even though we were planning on waiting after college to have kids, it looks like Heavenly Father's children are becoming a little impatient in heaven. So we gladly welcome the little baby. And we both know that maybe we are not quite financially ready, we know that we are very blessed and we will find a way with His help and with the love and support of friends and family.

Flying South in the Winter

Ok so we drove for a long time on Halloween and got to North Carolina really late. Greg and I fell asleep on the pull out couch. The next day we had breakfast at the hotel and then drove to Aunt Theresa's and the first thing she did was play a voice mail from Dad saying "Hi this is Paul, I'm guessing this is Becca and I'm just trying to get a hold of Greg to discuss plans for going down south for Theresa's Surprise Party". It was Dad who blew the surprise.
The place that we had the birthday party was within walking distance of the hotel. So after lunch I walked back to the hotel to catch up on sleep. I wasn't feeling very good because of PMS cramps so I didn't hang around the party a whole lot. But it was really fun. They had a lot of delicious healthy food and the plastic cups were made from corn. I thought was really cool.
Anyway the party wen't late and then the next morning we had family breakfast, which lasted till almost lunch. (Actually it was daylight savings time so it felt like lunch). Then we drove home.
It was a geat trip even though most of it was driving. I had a ton of fun and I fell in love with my new family.

LAN Party Time

On November 8th Greg had his LAN party. Getting everything ready took up most of the time. We got xboxs set up pretty quick and we had cool color changing lights (THANKS CHRIS!!!). Everything was just really cool looking. I was in charge of food and drinks, Greg did a lot of driving because he was the only one with a car who knew the area. But finally after dinner he was able to sit down and finally play a game. Everything went smooth. The guests loved it and Greg WILL be planning another one but hopefully not too soon.

In the Season to Decorate

This is my mini Christmas Tree. I took all the decorations off and put new ones on in the spirit of fall, which is my favorite of all the seasons. I got little ceramic-like ornaments for Hobby Lobby for under $1.50. And then I used fallen leaves and flowers from the floral department to fill in the gaps. Pretty isn't it?

This is also a great decoration I made. I used paper towel rolls and stuck floor leaves that had fallen in the seasonal isle at Hobby Lobby in them to create an autumn wind chime-type thing. Then I made the scarecrow head with a small round pillow, buttons, yarn, pipe cleaners, and other scrapes from around the house.

Our inexpensive decorations have definitely made a difference in our small apartment. And as soon as I carve our pumpkin that we got for free, I will post a picture of it too.

Our Friend Josh

This is Josh.

He's our friend. We met him while working at Hobby Lobby. Turns out he's a geek too. He was on the Sparx Team at Robotics.

Josh comes over a lot. We feed him and in return he gives us the occasional ride to work and he helps around the house.

We have become very good friends with Josh. We like Josh very much.
Thanks for being our friend!

Greg's Project

For the past few weeks Greg has been working on his website, gaxor.com. He has so proudly created a compilation of useful tools for the computer illiterate. He has put the Gaxor story on it which he wrote before we were even dating. And currently he has been working on a LAN party for his friends. A LAN party is a group of computers connected together to play games. He's planning on about 50 people. He is so excited about it. Greg has asked a few companies to sponsor the event and they are sending their products for advertising reasons. He even asked me to make a picture for his site.

It was inspired by a doodle that Jake drew once.
The only problem he has with the party is that he needs a large location with several power outlets. So please go to his website and send him ideas. He would really like to see that people are going there to check his stuff out.

Road to College

We are halfway to College!
So here is our plan so far:
We want to reach $10,000 so we can go to school for a year with out loans. Work part time jobs and get grants and scholarships to fill in the gaps.
We plan to go to BYU-I for the summer semester, we originally wanted to go in the spring but we decided it was smarter to wait until after we got sealed.
I want to study Early Childhood Education and Greg wants to study Computer Engineering.

So that's the plan so far. Any questions or suggestions please feel free to help us out.
( We are also accepting donations! ;-) )

Update On Our Lives

Yes, we ARE still alive.
And no, we are not well.
Greg gave me his cold and now we are both kinda suffering.
And I can't stand lying in bed when there are things to be doing on my day off of work.
So here is what I made:

They are Warm Windows. They are going to help keep our heat from literally "going out the window". And they will help keep the light off our projector screen. Mom had bought all the materials years a go. I'm guessing she made a few and she held and passed on the left overs to me. So I worked really hard to follow all the directions not take short cuts and I tried really hard to make them look good with what scrapes I had. I admit I could have done better. But I made 3.75 working drapes (1 of the drapes doesn't have the locking pulley). So yeah I'm pretty proud of that.
So that's the update so far. Everything else is same-o same-o.

I Was Tagged by Heather and I Didn't Know

6 Unremarkable things about me

1. I would rather clean my kitchen on my day off then sleep in
2. My socks have to match (color and style)
3. I don't like taking showers everyday (every other is better)
4. I am really good at making mashed potatoes and chicken nuggets for dinner
5. I like to stare cross-eyed at myself in the mirror when I know nobody is looking
6. I sing random songs to myself when I'm bored

I don't know 6 people to tag back so :-D

Tasty Treat for Tasty Me

In between the craziness of two jobs I still found time to make the perfect cheesecake. I even had left over crust stuff so I made cheesecupcakes and they were so amazing. Perfect for lunches. I brought some to Eliana and when I well traveled rich lady tells you that your cheesecake is amazing you know its true. So yeah my head is high in the sky this week

Hobby Lobby

Hobby Lobby is like a giant Christian Michael's. They're from down south and this is the first store in New York. They are located in the ex-Chase Pitkins Building in Webster Wegmans Plaza on Holt Rd. They have almost everything at Jo-Anns AND Michael's and they're cheaper. So come check it out.
Greg and I are still working for the Hobby Lobby. They really like us and they like how we both work hard and we don't cause problems so they schedule us together. We even get to have lunch together.
Greg works in the back doing all the odd jobs, heavy lifting, and high reaching. The favor me at the front registers doing mostly returns. I almost have an offical register because they always put me there. It's so much fun. Great wages and they are closed on Sundays "to allow employees time for family and worship". It's the perfect job. And we only bike 3 miles to get there so it's really not bad until winter.

New Jobs!

Greg and I both got hired at a store 3 miles down the road. We are only working there for 2 weeks but we are working 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, at $8 an hour. which is not bad. We are simply helping the store set up for their opening day. YAY!

I SURVIVED!

I survived another virus. Tuesday after I got home from work I started to get a headach, then my temperature rose, and my tonsils swelled. The next day I was totally miserable. I took what medications we had to take the edge off and thankfully Greg came home just in time to help me as I gave back my breakfast. It was not pleasant but my condition improved rapidly after that I spent the next day healing so as not to get my boss sick, and now I'm back at work with only a small ear ach to remind me of the ordeal. A quick illness and a quick recovery. Hopefully Greg hasn't caught it.

All Day

So this afternoon we set up outside all of our extra furniture to try to sell to put in our college fund. Unfortunately all we got from that is sunburned. A few prospective buyers but still nothing sold. Boy, I wish I had aloe vera lotion.

I Had To Go And Open My Big Mouth...

So after I cleaned the carpets in the house, I told my Boss and that gave her an idea. So yesterday after doing my usual tasks, she pulled out her carpet cleaner... sigh
But thats not what got me in trouble...
It's the fact that the carpet cleaner wasn't working, so I mentioned that you don't have to have a spray hose to put the soap on the carpets. But what I didn't know was that the suction part of the cleaner wasn't working too. So I had to get down on my hands and knees and scrub by hand all the little spots on the carpet.
I just had to go and open my big mouth with my big ideas.

Marriage

Who doesn't think of this movie when you say "Marriage"?

So the other day I was reading my Scriptures and I came across a part in Jacob that describes the love he felt for his people as "anxiety". You have to really be in love with someone to be so concerned for them that you "stumble because of over anxiety". It makes me think of how Greg cares so much that he goes out of his way for me.

Well this month I have not been sleeping at all. A broken 4 hours a night is all I can get and maybe a nap in the afternoon. So Greg will stay up with me (even though he's tired) just to talk with me until I get tired. I'm so glad he does that for me.

Right before bed is one of my favorite times for bonding. It's when we are tired and most of the work is done so all we want to do is sit down and talk. I like to make sure I thank him and/or apologize for all of the things that I may have missed during the day. We discuss plans and goals for the week and we make sure to know whats going on at each others end. Or we might read a chapter or two from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy after Scriptures.

We have also been moving old furniture out and new furniture in and I've been washing the carpets and cleaning everything and Greg has a sprained wrist. So I have been doing a lot so he doesn't have to hurt his wrist anymore than he has to. I am just beat and over whelmed with so much to do, and Greg has noticed this past week how stressed out I've become. So last night he sent me to my room while he set up the living room. He had cleared a space on the floor and created a playlist on his ipod and had me get a dress on and he took me dancing in our living room. He really knows how to make me feel special.

Greg has really done a lot to help me and I am so greateful to him for all that he has done. And I love him so much.

Birthdays at the Creedon's

Half of the cake had 20 GREEN candles for Greg and the other half had 19 PINK candles for me they sang and we blew them all out together. Now that is team work!

Morley Family Get-Together

On Saturday July 19th we went to Victor to go to a family get together.
