Birthday Again

Yesterday Stephanie and Liz drove out to see us. It was so much fun we talked and caught up played our favorite game of Pictionary and we had cake and sang happy birthday. Then played with the guitars. It was so much fun. S.L.A.B. reunion looks like it might be in the planning for the future.

Marriage

Who doesn't think of this movie when you say "Marriage"?

So the other day I was reading my Scriptures and I came across a part in Jacob that describes the love he felt for his people as "anxiety". You have to really be in love with someone to be so concerned for them that you "stumble because of over anxiety". It makes me think of how Greg cares so much that he goes out of his way for me.

Well this month I have not been sleeping at all. A broken 4 hours a night is all I can get and maybe a nap in the afternoon. So Greg will stay up with me (even though he's tired) just to talk with me until I get tired. I'm so glad he does that for me.

Right before bed is one of my favorite times for bonding. It's when we are tired and most of the work is done so all we want to do is sit down and talk. I like to make sure I thank him and/or apologize for all of the things that I may have missed during the day. We discuss plans and goals for the week and we make sure to know whats going on at each others end. Or we might read a chapter or two from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy after Scriptures.

We have also been moving old furniture out and new furniture in and I've been washing the carpets and cleaning everything and Greg has a sprained wrist. So I have been doing a lot so he doesn't have to hurt his wrist anymore than he has to. I am just beat and over whelmed with so much to do, and Greg has noticed this past week how stressed out I've become. So last night he sent me to my room while he set up the living room. He had cleared a space on the floor and created a playlist on his ipod and had me get a dress on and he took me dancing in our living room. He really knows how to make me feel special.

Greg has really done a lot to help me and I am so greateful to him for all that he has done. And I love him so much.

Birthdays at the Creedon's

Half of the cake had 20 GREEN candles for Greg and the other half had 19 PINK candles for me they sang and we blew them all out together. Now that is team work!

Morley Family Get-Together

On Saturday July 19th we went to Victor to go to a family get together.
Food, Fun, and COUSINS!

Greg's Birthday

July 18th, 2008
With the help of the Magical World of Drugs and A/C I was able to function enough to make Greg his Birthday cake. I made him his favorite dinner of Broccoli Penne and Chris and I sang with sparklers. Greg's birthday wish was that we eat the cake with chopsticks. So we did.
I gave Greg six beautiful new ties and played Happy Birthday on the Guitar. I tried really hard to give Greg a good birthday.

Somebody Call the WAAAmbulance

So it's the day before Greg's birthday and I wake up to the horrific signs of Chronic Periodic Inflammatory Tonsillitis also known as "sore throat" to those of you who have normal sized tonsils. Anyway so I took two Tylenol and when to work hoping things would get better.
Of course they didn't.
So now I'm lying disabled in bed with no Sucrets Defense Pills, no Cepocol, no chicken noodle and no orange juice. Looks like I'll be battling this one by myself. And oh what I would give if I could just have my Missy girl to snuggle with.
I just hope I'm well enough to make Greg his cake and sing to him tomorrow.

Saturday Night Concert

So our friend Chris got a hold of some free tickets to a concert. It was a cool concert. We were out doors sitting on the lawn listening to the RPO play selections from Star Wars. After the intermission they played The Planets by Gustav Holst to a video show of images from the Hubble Telescope. It was really cool and I think Jacob would have really liked it. I thought about him when the played Jupiter, which is my favorite. I am so mad that I didn't bring my camera to take pictures.
Any way it was really cool. But afterwords they wouldn't let us hang around and look at the stars which I thought was dumb cause after that concert you kinda get a mystical sense and just want to look up and wonder.

Friday, July 11

I'm 19!

Yup so July 11 is my birthday. Everyone thinks it's cool that my birthday is 7-11 and they think that I should get free slurpies but really I've never been to a 7-Eleven store.
My birthday was good. Greg made his first cake for me. I was cool cause I had sparklers for candles. It tasted great. We then went to the Hill Cumorah Pageant.
It's fun to get older sometimes.

Where I've Lived for the Past 2 Weeks

I left Monday afternoon to go to Maryland to sell Fireworks. We took a while getting down there because they weren't quite ready for us. So we stopped at my Favorite chocolate factory in Litiz, PA and bought lots of chocolate to last me all the way home.
We got to our spot at Midway Liquors and started to set up the tent. Well actually my job was to was to watch Natali, the 5 year old. So I stayed in the camper cleaning up everything. I actually just wanted to stay in what little A/C we had. The tent looked great when I finally came out. It looked like a professional business and we were open for customers.
The first week we were open things were slow but steady. So to fill the time Aunt Cindy, and all us "kids" played stringed instruments. Aunt Cindy and cousin David on the Mandolin, Tyler and I on guitars, and little Natali on her "little guitar" aka the ukellele. We were all beginners and all knew just a little so we all took turns being both teacher and student. We practiced and played duets and rounds. And I came away learning 10 Nursery Ryhmes. It was so much fun I felt like a big old family.
Business picked up the day before the 4th of July and we had to put the instruments away. My job in the tent was a greeter and a bagger. David was an excellent salesmen convincing "just lookers" to leave spending over $100. We didn't bring him last year but we are definitley bringing him next year. Tyler manned the cash register. And Cindy and Tim did selling and register. Natali was just a cute shadow to either David or Me. Most of the time we stuck her in the camper with a movie.
We set off some fireworks on the 4th in the back parking lot. It was so cool. We had a ton of fun. It was the best 4th I've ever had! We did really well sold a lot and I made a good sum of money for the college fund.
I was quite anxious to get home to see my husband. And I was pleasently surprised to find a rose petal trail leading to my new kitchen preparation table and stool. It was the best welcome home, like strait out of a movie.
